RACEC turns 50
Since inception in 1956, the RACEC name has become synonymous with the platelaying
construction industry in South Africa and in 1977 RACEC Electrification (Pty) Ltd was
added to the RACEC Group as a result of a group desire to complement its main activity
in the rail track construction field with an electrical contracting operation.
RACEC Group (Pty) Ltd now operates throughout South Africa with offices in Cape Town, Brakpan, Richards Bay and George. From these permanent offices, combined with various satellite offices, RACEC has operations throughout the Southern Regions of Africa and has established itself as a respected leader in both these specialised fields.
On this our 50th anniversary, we the management of RACEC are extremely proud of this achievement as well as all our loyal and competent staff compliment who have made this possible.
